Elkader Register, Thur., 02 Sept. 1880.

DIED - August 2_th, 1880, of diphtheria, Hattie May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Leighty, of Elk twp. Aged 2 years. Hattie was a beautiful little child, the flower and pride of the family. She was taken sick but a few days ago and died Saturday morning. The parents have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.
