Elkader Register, Thur., 06 May 1880.

DIED - At the home of Fred Lundt, in Volga township, on May 2nd, 1880, of consumption, Frederick Schultz, aged 72 years.

Mr. Schultz was an old citizen of Volga township and highly respected for his many good qualities. He is the father-in-law of Fred ad Henry Lundt, both highly respected farmers of that vicinity. He was buried in the Elkport grave yard Tuesday afternoon, the remains were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of relatives and friends. Rev. Dorself preached the funeral sermon.
