Elkader Register, Thur., 22 Apr. 1880. Osborne column.

Diphtheria is still engaged in its work of death in our community, its latest victim being a seven months old child of C. Kizer, which died last week. Another little one in the same family is down sick.

Notes:
-1880 mortality schedule names her as Catherine Keiser, age 7 mo.

-Christian & Maria Keiser are found in 1870 federal census Farmersburg twp., 1880 federal, Cox Creek twp. & 1885 IA State census, Cox Creek twp., but not after.
