Elkader Register, Thur., 08 Apr. 1880.

We are again called upon to make the painful announcement of the death of an old resident of the county, Henry Coonfare of Lodomillo twp., having died at his home in that township, Sunday evening, April 4th, aged 50 years. Mr. Coonfare was well and hearty in the morning, but shortly before noon he was taken with a paralytic stroke, and died in a short time. He had been a resident of that township for 26 years, and was highly respected by all who knew him.
