Luetje, 2 y/o son died 1890

Elkader Register, Thur., 09 Oct. 1890. Elkport column.

The little two-year-old son of Claus Litge and wife died Sunday after a week's illness. The funeral took place Monday and was largely attended. The family have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.

Note: Surname is correctly spelled Luetje. Both Claus and his wife Wilhelmine 'Minnie' (Hannamann) Luetje are buried in the Guttenberg City cemetery. The son is more likely buried in/near Elkport.
