Elkader Register, Thur., 22 Dec. 1898. Volga column.

News was received here Monday announcing the death of Mrs. James Campbell, at Marathon, Iowa, where she has been making her home with her son. The remains were brought here Tuesday and laid beside her husband, who died here some years ago. Mrs. Campbell was a resident of this township for many years and is most highly esteemed by her neighbors and friends.

Note: Malissa M. (Nichols) Campbell is buried in Hillcrest cem with her husband James F.
