Elkader Register, Thur., 26 May 1898. Local columns.

William, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Schuelz, of this township, died Monday after a lingering illness of dropsy of the heart. Deceased was born Feb. 19th, 1881, and was in his 18th year. The funeral was held Wednesday at Clayton Center.

Note: Burial is likely in Zion Lutheran, Clayton Center, although no extant gravestone. Ferdinand & Juliane SCHUETZ have a family monument & individual stones.
