Fred Schievelbein, an old resident of Read twp., died at Clayton Center Friday, March 11th, at the age of 71 years and 6 months. He was married Oct. 2, 1858 to Caroline Miller, and with his wife and one son came to this county in 1863. He leaves a wife and two sons, Carl and Albert. The funeral was held Sunday Rev. Siefert officiating.
