Gibbs, Si died 1898

We learn by telephone that Monday night Si Gibbs, an old soldier who worked for John Moore, at Turkey River, was drowned. He had been to Cassville and while returning fell from the boat. He was about 51 years of age, and leaves a sister at Waucoma. Coroner Scholz held an inquest Tuesday and the verdict of the jury was the death resulted from an accident. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon.
