On Sunday, March 6th, 1898, Mr. and Mrs. James Adams, of Read twp., suffered the loss by death of their son Otto, aged six months. The funeral service was held at the Congregational church at Elkader on Tuesday, and four little boys carried the casket of the loved one from the church to the cemetery. Rev. F. L. Fisk officiated. A beautiful child has gone to him who said: "Suffer the little ones to come unto me and forbid them not." Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the parents and relatives.
