Elkader Register, Fri., 04 Feb. 1898. Local column.

On Jan. 29th, 1898, in Highland twp., occurred the death of Mrs. Lars H. Larson, aged 25 years. Besides her sorrowing husband and parents she leaves two small children. The funeral was held Tuesday at the Norwegian church in Wager.

(Note: WPA records indicate Julia A Larson, 1873 - 29 Jan. 1898, buried in the Norway Luth. Cemetery.)
