Elkader Register, Fri., 28 Jan. 1898. Local column.

Amelia, the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bauer, of this place, died Sunday morning last, of pneumonia, after an illness of only one week, at the age of about 15 years. The funeral was held Wednesday from St. Joseph's church and was largely attended by friends and relatives. The family has the sympathy of the community.
