Elkader Register, Fri., 12 June 1896.

Thomas Larson, the 11 year old son of Ole Larson, the drayman, died Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock, after a few weeks illness with consumption. Thomas was born in Illyria township, Fayette County. The funeral will be held Saturday morning, services at the Norwegian church in Marion twp. The family have our sympathy in their trouble.
