Elkader Register, Fri., 04 Oct. 1895. Luana column.

Wm. Webber's infant son died last Friday, and was buried Monday. Webber was absent from home, at Grundy Center, and being on his way here, he could not be reached by telegram. The first tidings he got was from neighbors who met him, it was a sad blow for the parents.

Note: he has a gravestone in the Luana cemetery, if there are dates engraved, they are no longer legible, but "son of William & Anna" can be made out. Surname on stone = WEBER
