Elkader Register, Thur., 28 Dec. 1893.

Died, at her residence in Miner's Creek, from the effects of la grippe, Dec. 19th, Anna Maria, wife of John Schummer, at the age of 72 years and 8 months. She was born in Willeck, Prussia. The funeral services were held at St. Mary's church by Rev. Brinkman on Thursday, Dec. 21st. Her remains were taken to the Catholic cemetery. - Guttenberg News.
