Elkader Register, Thur., 13 July 1893.

Mrs. H. M. Truman, eldest daughter of Wm. Burgess, of Luana, died Thursday, June 24th, after an illness of only thirty-six hours. Her husband, a veteran of the late war, died in 1875.
