DIED - June 29th, 1893, Sophia Musfeldt, aged 73 years. Mrs. Musfeldt is one of our oldest residents. She came to Clayton County in the year 1852 and settled in Elkport. She was the sister of Henry, Charles and William Wenkstein and the mother of Mrs. C. Waterman, H. Ortman and Charles Piehl. The funeral took place Saturday and was one of the largest ever held here, Rev. Fuchs officiating. The bereaved family has the sympathy of all in their sad affliction. She had made her home with Henry Ortman, of Ellk twp., during late years.
