Elkader Register, Thur., 18 Oct. 1894. Local columns.

Mrs. H. K. Aasen died in Highland twp. Monday, at the advanced age of 95 years. The old lady was the mother of Knudt. Aasen and was among the early settlers of the township. The funeral will be held at the Marion church on Friday.
