Elkader Register, Thur., 11 Oct. 1894. Elkport column.

Died, Oct. 9th, 1894, Mrs. Sophia Muller, aged 82 years, 3 months, 11 days. The deceased has been a resident of Volga twp. for the past 28 years. She had been sick but a short time at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Bahr. All that could be done to alleviate the suffering of the deceased was done, but of no avail. She leaves three children, Mrs. Peter Bahr, Mrs. Christian Stiefel and Mrs. Roggman, to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate mother. The funeral takes place Thursday, at one o'clock, Rev. Fuchs officiating. May she rest in peace.
