John Montz, and old and highly esteemed resident of Clayton County, well known in Brush Creek, was stricken with paralysis on Saturday, the 17th, and died on Monday at noon. He was about 73 years of age and leaves a widow, three sons and three daughters. The funeral was held on Wednesday and the remains were interred in the Taylorsville cemetery. - Mercury.
