Mrs. D. Fitzgibbons was buried here on Monday, the 26th. She was one of the old residents of this place, a staunch church member, honored and respected by all.

Mrs. Fitzgibbons, a sister of Michael Kennedy who recently moved into the Jacob Cook house died on the 24th, at the age of 74 years. She leaves two grown children, a son and daughter. The funeral was held at St. Joseph's church Monday, the burial being at Littleport.
