Elkader Register, Thur., 15 Feb. 1894.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Klinkenberg, of Farmersburg twp., mourn the loss of their eldest daughter, Amanda, aged 3 years, 4 months and 4 days, who died Saturday evening last from scarlet fever. The blow falls heavily upon the bereaved parents. The funeral took place Monday at Clayton Center. Another child is quite sick with the fearful disease.
