Elkader Register, Thur., 15 Feb. 1894. Elkport column.

Alfred Darrow, aged 55 years, died Saturday morning of Bright's disease. Mr. Darrow has been sick for the past two years and for the past year has made his home with his sister, Mrs. Jake Hansel, in Mallory twp. Mr. Darrow was an old soldier and an honest and upright man. The funeral took place Sunday and was largely attended. May he rest in peace.
