Elkader Register, Thur., 19 Nov. 1891. Local column.

J. C. Beedy, formerly postmaster, died on October 25th, at his home in Hardin, this county. Mr. Beedy came to Iowa in 1850, and located at Hardin, where he has resided continuously for over 40 years.
