Elkader Register, Thur., 06 Aug. 1891. Garnavillo column.

Chas. Peters, long a resident here, died at the poor house last week and was buried at the old cemetery on Saturday. Mr. Peters was stricken with paralysis several years ago, incapacitating him for labor. His savings soon exhausted he was sent to the poor farm.
