Elkader Register, Thur., 02 July 1891. Elkport column.

Mrs. Jaeger and little three-months-old child died in Thursday. Mrs. Jaeger has been sick with consumption for a long time and there were no hopes of her recovery. She leaves a husband to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate wife. They resided on Cedar Creek in Jefferson township. The husband has the sympathy of all in his sad affliction. Mother and child were buried at Guttenberg on Sunday.
