Elkader Register, Thur., 04 June 1891.

Friday, May 29th, 1891, occurred the death of Nellie Sabin at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sabin, in Omaha, Nebraska. She was nearly 14 years of age and exceptionally bright and intelligent for one of her years. She was a fine Christian girl and very much interested in all the work that pertained to her church and Sabbath school. Her remains were brought to Volga for interment, Monday. Funeral services were held in the M.E. church and were conducted by Rev. H. Williams and Rev. Ensign. Mr. and Mrs. Sabin have many friends in this vicinity who extend their heartfelt sympathy to them in their great sorrow. They remain for a short visit with relatives and friends before returning to their home in Omaha.
