Elkader Register, Thur., 22 Feb. 1923.

Virgil Coonfare, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Coonfare, died at the Sanitarium at Prairie du Chien Thursday, February 15, after a six weeks' illness due to heart trouble. Virgil was born at Littleport, February 2nd, 1913, and had reached the age of 10 years and 13 days at the time of his death. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon and the body was laid at rest in the Communia cemetery, Rev. C. H. Franke officiated. Our sympathy goes out to the sorrowing family.
