Elkader Register, Thur., 25 Jan. 1923. Garber column.

Mr. Aaron Bowman, Sr., one of the eldest pioneer settlers of this vicinity passed away at the home of his son Morris at the age of 90 years. He leaves to mourn his death, three sons Lovett and Watson of Toledo, Iowa. Morris on the old home farm and Mrs. Delbert Borrett of Osterdock, Iowa. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon to the Mt. Harmony Cemetery*. Rev. Smith of Colesburg officiating.
