John Brinkhous was born in Baltimore, M.D., January 11, 1848 and died at Mederville, Iowa, Thursday, Nov. 21, 1918, aged 70 years, 10 months and 10 days. He leaves to mourn his death, his aged wife, a brother living in Gothenberg, Neb., two brothers at Doon, Iowa, a brother at Rushmore, Minn., a sister at Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, a sister and brother at Mederville, together with many friends. He had no children. Funeral was held Saturday morning from his home at Mederville, Rev. Peacock, of Des Moines, preaching the sermon.
