The remains of Jessie Brown were brought here from McGregor for burial, Saturday. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Rev. Cutler, of McGregor, officiating.

Miss Jessie Brown died at the hospital in this place last Friday, after an illness of ten days with pneumonia. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Cutler on Sunday and the burial was in the family lot at Garnavillo. She was a teacher in the McGregor schools for many years.
