Mrs. Wilhelmina Berg died at her home on Thursday, Sept. 5th. She was born in Garnavillo township in 1861 and was baptized and confirmed into her faith by Rev. Seifert. Her marriage to Henry C. Berg occurred 1n 1882, who preceded her in death, July 4th, 1908. The deceased was the mother of two children, one of which died in infancy. Her surviving son Arthur was at all times her loving and faithful guide and protector and after the passing of the husband and father worked hand in hand, equally sharing the joys and sorrows of life. The funeral was held on Sunday, Sept. 8th, Rev. Athenstaedt officiating. The funeral was largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends.
