Elizabeth Rulon, an inmate of the County Home, died there on Sunday, aged 79 years. She was admitted to that institution June 3, 1913.

Mary A. Bloodworth was born in White County, Illinois, September 28, 1837, and died at Elkader December 30th, 1917.
She came to Iowa when but a mere girl and was united in marriage to J.M. Rulon, June 8, 1862.
To this union were born five children, two of whom died in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death in 1914.
She leaves to mourn a mother's death three children, Ida Smock of Elkader, W.H. Rulon of this place and Anna Bond of Garber, besides fifteen grandchildren.
She had been a devoted member of the Methodist Episcopal church for over forty years.
May she rest in peace.
