DIED - at McGregor, on Monday, March 8th, 1858, Charlie, only child of Phelix and Charlotte McGuire, aged 3 years.

Little Charlie is gone - the one we did cherish,
With affection so deep, with such kindness and care,
Like a rose-tree when blooming the casket has perished,
But the gem is in Heaven, 'tis transplanted there.
