Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 13 Dec. 1917. North Buena Vista column.

Burdett Raymond, youngest son of Thomas and Effie Cornwell, was born Jan. 6th, 1914, at Buena Vista, and met his tragic end on Dec. 8th, 1917.

Rev. Fred Riggs conducted the funeral, Monday, of little three-year-old Burdett Cornwell.
