Millien T. Mork
Millien Tilman Mork was born Oct. 18, 1912 in Marion Township, Clayton County, Iowa to Thomas and Molly (Ruroden) Mork. He died after an extended illness Wednesday afternoon Oct. 17, 1990 at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital at the age of 77.
He was raised and educated in the area where he attended Clayton County rural school. He was baptized on Nov. 24, 1912 by Pastor Arveson, and confirmed on Aug. 14, 1927 by Pastor Tysdal, both at Marion Lutheran Church.
He lived his entire life on the home farm until moving to Elgin in 1977. On Oct. 4, 1990 he entered the Guttenberg Care Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Selmer and Millard, and 2 sisters; Clara McNally and Anna Mae Landsgard.
Casket Bearers: Tom Landsgard, Tennis Mork, Joe Reierson, Emery Landsgard, Eugene Mork and Tilpher Bilden.
Arrangements were by Muehlethaler's Funeral Home in Elgin, Iowa.
