Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 27 Sept. 1917. Strawberry Point columns.

The remains of Chas. Haskins, a former resident of this place, were brought here Tuesday morning from Waterloo, where he passed away at the John K___burgh home last Sunday morning. The remains were met at the train by members of the York Lodge I.O.O.F., of which he was a member. The services at the grave were under the auspices of this order. His uncle, A__ Haskins, and cousin, George Haskins, and wife, of Lamont, were present at the funeral.
