The remains of W. N. Cleveland were brought to this place from Cedar Rapids, Tuesday afternoon. He died at that place last Sunday, July 8, aged 61 years, 11 months and one day. The funeral services were held at Cedar Rapids. The remains were met here by a large number who accompanied the casket to the cemetery where interment took place, Rev. He is survived by a wife and daughter who have the sympathy of their many friends. Two sisters reside in McGregor, Mrs. Bidwell and Mrs. Rice. Many handsome floral offerings were given by the friends of the deceased after the body was taken from the train.
