Again the angel of death has visited the community, this time taking a loving husband and father, T. A. Kitterman. The subject of this sketch was born near Ottumwa, Iowa, June 29, 1870, making him 47 years old the day of his death. While still a small child , the family moved to Northern Kansax (Kansas ??), where he grew to manhood. In the summer of 1894, he returned to Iowa. Since then this community has been his home. In April, 1904, he was united in marriage to Jennie C. Davis, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Davis. To this happy union have been born three children, Florence, aged 12; Harriet, aged 9; and Frances, aged 6. The unborn babe will never know the care of a kind and loving father. Besides the immediate family, the deceased is survived by two brothers and seven sisters, all living in the west. The funeral was held at the beautiful new residence one mile west of town, services being conducted by Rev. Joseph M. Jennings. Interment in the Hill Crest Cemetery.
