Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 29 Mar. 1917. Monona column.

Tuesday morning Mrs. Sam Henderson, who is visiting her son, Billie Henderson, of Rossville, Iowa, started to town with her son. On the way she complained of not feeling well. They returned home at once and sent for medical aid. Before the physician arrived Mrs. Henderson had passed away.

Clara (Hall) Henderson, 1844-1917, w/o Samuel is buried in the Evergreen cemetery, located on Evergreen Drive, just off Hwy. 76, SE of Waukon, Allamakee co. IA
