Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 29 Mar. 1917.

Little Lawrence Howard Dill, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Dill, died at his home in Elkader, Tuesday, March 27th, at 5 o'clock p.m. He was two years, six months and two days old at the time of his death. The cause of death was pneumonia and other complications. He was born on a farm near Elkader September 25th, 1914. The surviving relatives are the parents, five sisters and three brothers, namely: Mrs. Laura Edna Reynolds, Charles City, Iowa; Mrs. Eva Viola Stendel, Edna Marie, Elmer Roosevelt, Leon William, Leta Mae and Floyd Edward, of Elkader. One brother, Ralph Le Roy, died September 28th, 1892. The funeral will be held March 30th, Rev. Isaac Cassel officiating. Interment will be in Cox Creek cemetery.
