Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 15 Feb. 1917. Monona column.

The funeral of John Grady, of Chicago, occurred at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monday morning, at 9 o'clock, February 12th, 1917. His death occurred at Waterloo, Friday, February 9th. His aunt, Miss Annie Grady, and uncle, Dan Grady, went from Monona to Waterloo and accompanied the remains here. He was born in July, in North McGregor, the year of the Chicago fire, 1871. His parents have preceded him to the next world. There remain two sisters, Kittie and Winnie, to mourn his passing.
