Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 18 Jan. 1917.

Helen Elizabeth, daughter of William and Mabel Possehl, of Mederville, was born December 13th, 1916, an died January 12th, 1917, from a complicated ailment. She leaves to mourn her loss her parents, five brothers and numerous other relatives. The funeral was held from the house Sunday at one o'clock. Ray Galer officiated at he services. Interment was made in the Mederville cemetery. The floral offerings were profuse and beautiful. May she rest in peace.
