Emma Stacy was born in Cook county, Ill., May 1st, 1852, and died at her home in Volga Dec. 20, 1909. At the age of five years she came with her parents to Clayton County, making her home near and in Volga until the time of her death. She leaves four sisters to mourn her loss, Mrs. G. A. Packer, Mrs. E. D. Ryan, both of Sioux City, Ia., and Mrs. D. E. Livingood, of Elkader, and Mrs. J. A. Parsons, of Volga. She was baptized according to the rites of the Episcopal church.
