Died, at Hot Springs, Ark., July 6th, Miss Christine T. Lunda, at the age of seventy years. Miss Lunda was an aunt of Herb and Lars Thompson, of Farmersburg, and came over from the old country about forty years ago and made her home for awhile with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Thompson. From here she, in company with her two sisters, went to Florida, where they lived for about twenty-five years. Both of her sisters died in Florida, leaving her alone, when she went to Hot Springs, Ark., and made her home with William, Hans and Gunder Thompson. She was brought back here for burial and on Thursday afternoon, July 8th, she was laid to rest in our Norway Lutheran cemetery, where her parents and two of her sisters are buried, Rev. Arveson preaching the funeral sermon.
