Mrs. Fredericka Hannah Sophia Fahlhafer, nee Groth, was born Dec. 6, 1834, at Staffenhagen, Mecklenberg Schwerin. Her parents later on moved to Wolkwitz county, Demmien, Persia. In the year 1862 she was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Frederick Fahlhafer. To this union were born nine children, seven of whom survive. She leaves to mourn her death besides her children and husband, nineteen grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. She died March 25th, 1909, at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 19 days. Services were held at St. Paul's church Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. K. W. Braun officiating. Interment was made in the new cemetery.
