Mrs. Sabina Hock, formerly Sabina Wiedermeyer, was born at Ordenburg, Albayern, May 4th, 1827, and died Tuesday, Jan. 12th, 1909, at her home in Sperry township at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 8 days. In 1852 she came to America and in 1855 was united in marriage to Conrad Hock at Joliet, Ill. They lived here until 1865, when they moved to St. Sebald, and in 1867 they settled on a farm near Cox Creek, which continued to be her home until her death.
To this union were born five children, four sons and one daughter, one son dying in infancy. Three sons and one daughter survive her, Mrs. Peter Brell, Louie Hock and Conrad Hock, all of Nebraska, and John Hock, who still remains on the old Home.
