Mrs. Frederica Pruess passed away Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock at the age of eighty years. She leaves to mourn her death, two daughters and four sons, Mrs. Arthur Morlock of Chicago, Mrs. Mike Eider of Strawberry Point, Helmuth of Chicago, Herman of Monona, and Frank and Louis of this place. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, December 21st, at the Presbyterian church.

A twin sister, Mrs. John Becker, passed away just six years ago on the day of Ms. Preuss' death.

(Note: Both spellings of the surname Preuss/Pruess were in the article, as shown. As were the titles Ms./Mrs. Gravestone in Hillcrest cemetery spells surname PREUSS)
