Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Smith occurred last Tuesday afternoon at the Congregational church, conducted by Rev. Carrie V. Lucas. The pall bearers were J. H. Klingbeil, C. A. Schoeppe, L. D. Davis, M. F. Harwood, F. E. Davis of Strawberry Point, and W. M. Coykendall of Cedar Rapids. Interment was made in the local cemetery.

Flora Addie, youngest daughter of George and Adeline Cooper, was born in Brownhelm, Ohio, March 20, 1865, and passed away at her home Nov. 11, 1934.
When 15 years of age she moved to Strawberry Point with her parents, where she has since resided. She was married to Albert Smith, Oct. 24, 1882. Mr. Smith passed away March 9, 1922. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Congregational church, the Thimble society, The P.E.O., R.N.A. and O.E.S. She was a woman loved by all, and was ever ready to do her part to aid any one in need. Although gone, her many acts of kindness will always be remembered by many. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Rita Staehle, of Minneapolis, and three sons, Lynn C., Bert A. and Claude E. all of Fayette, also five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and one sister, Mrs. Belle Dunning of Strawberry Point.
