Clayton County Register, Thur., 20 Sept. 1934.

McGREGOR: Mrs. Frank Tipp passed away at her home Thursday afternoon after a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held from the home Saturday afternoon with Rev. J. Franklin Parsons in charge. Interment was made in the Pleasant Grove cemetery.

The deceased is survived by her husband, one son, Charles Tipp, of McGregor, a daughter, Mrs. James Canada of Webster City, a sister and Brother, Ida and Charles Brooks of McGregor.

(Note: WPA records indicate Libbie L. Tipp, 1869 - 1934, buried in Pleasant Grove cemetery. The IGPP shows a gravestone photo.)
